Maia Alasania is a self-taught artist. She was born in 1973, Tbilisi. She graduated from Tbilisi state University. She also worked in the social support department of Tbilisi city hall. She has drawn since childhood, and participated in two exhibitions thus far.
In 2014, she got interested in oil paints. She uses «blade and sock technology» in her art.
